Group tries to profit off gun control legislation

Ammo Accountability group has patents on technology used to enforce legislation they sponsor but their scheme isn't getting traction

A visit to the website Ammunition Accountability.org -- they also run a mirror .com site -- would lead you to believe that they were a grassroots conglomeration of concerned citizens and civic leaders with an unimpressive, low-tech website.

That couldn’t be further from the truth.

"SB-2099" e-mail a hoax, but illustrates why you should be a member of a trusted pro-gun group

You may have received an e-mail about a bill in the U.S. Senate known as "SB-2099".

There are a great number of indicators in this e-mail that prove the sender is not to be trusted.

"This bill will become public knowledge 30 days after it is voted into law."  Baloney.  I don't trust the scumbuckets in Washington, D.C. either.  But a bill can't become law without "public knowledge" or without a vote.

Colorado's Community Colleges lift carry ban

Yesterday (5/10/10) the Colorado Community College System instructed Colorado's Community Colleges to allow permit holders to carry on campus.

That directive was written and signed by System President Nancy McCallin.  You can read that directive here.

This applies to all taxpayer funded community colleges in the system.  RMGO is working on publishing a list, but expect this directive to take some time to filter down to bureaucrats who, frankly, would rather deny you the ability to carry on their (actually our) campuses.

It’s vital that every Second Amendment activist understand what’s at stake here, and act today!

We’re not just talking about legislation that would shut down groups in Washington, D.C.

The DISCLOSE Act will kill off every state-level association and group in the entire country, while keeping major left-wing radical groups intact -- and, with their exemption, the NRA.

This is not only counterproductive to our liberties, but tactically it’s just plain stupid.
